"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend." - Melody Beattie
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of year. Anyone who's ever met me can probably tell that I thoroughly enjoy copious amounts of food, but it's also a time to enjoy fall weather, lots of football, and of course, time spent with loved ones. Some of my favorite memories involve hanging around the house with my family and, as of the past few years, my wife's family as well. With each year that passes, it seems like it gets harder and harder to find quality time to spend with my folks, so these family holidays get more and more precious to me.
But the most valuable thing about Thanksgiving, for me, is the opportunity that it presents to really focus on gratitude. While we should always be content and thankful for all of the many blessings in our lives, that can get really difficult on a day-to-day level. Taking time to reflect on the things you're thankful for can really put things in perspective and help you to realign your priorities.
Today, we at Omer Law Firm are thankful for all of the people who make what we do possible. Whether you're a client, a referral partner, or a supporter, we wouldn't be here if it weren't for you. We are truly grateful for your thoughts, prayers, trust, and support, and we're eternally thankful for the opportunity to serve the Triangle area.
Take some time to stop and think about the things you're thankful for. We're thankful for you.
